My dad clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas when I was in kindergarten. He is one of the most down-to-earth, fun, kind, wise, and intelligent people I have ever met. I remember visiting his office when I was a little girl and filling my pockets with candy from his desk drawers. It is always a treat to see and visit with him. Being at the clerks reunion for even a few hours made me want to do a better job of being politically active and helping to uphold the constitution. I am glad to be an American!
