Our 4th of July was so much fun this year! Sam was working on the 3rd, but Claire & I went with my parents, Tara, & Ben to the Freedom Festival in Provo. It was really hot so we didn't stay long, but it was fun to walk around and look at the shops and then grab some lunch.
On the 4th, we started the day with a 5k and breakfast with Sam's family. It was so much fun and something we're going to make a tradition! Afterward, we relaxed at home and then went to a BBQ & swimming party at my parents' neighbor's home. We ended up ending the night pretty early to get Claire to bed, but we had a great time! I am so grateful to be an American and want to try to be a better, more politically active member of society!
