Baby Girl's Name

We have been asked a lot if we have a name for our baby girl. Unless we have a last minute change of plans, we do! Here it is:

Claire Sophia Roberts

Claire was on the top of our list from the time we found out I was pregnant. I have always loved the name Claire, and luckily when I brought it up Sam loved it too. When I told my mom it was one of our favorite names she looked up the meaning, which made me like it even more. Claire means "bright, clear". Love that! 

With the middle name, we knew we wanted to use a family name. Almost right away, we thought of Sophia--Sam's younger sister's name. We loved the way that Sophia sounds with Claire, and we adore Sophia Marie Roberts. :) Sophie is one of our favorite people in the world, and a wonderful person for our baby girl to look up to. We hope she'll grow up to be lots like her aunt Sophie. Another fun part of having Sophia as the middle name is that Sophie's birthday is August 25th, so there's a chance that our baby girl could end up sharing both a name and a birthday with her aunt! (Sophia means "wisdom".)
